3rd ISPDC Annual meeting

The third international meeting of the International Society for Proton Dynamics in Cancer (ISPDC) was heald in Kyoto, October 12-13, 2012. The symposium assembled around 60 scientists coming form all over the world and from different disciplines, like Phisics, Physiology, Biology, Medicine, Pharmaceutics.

Highlights of the program included the opening lecture given by Professor Gerard Pollak (USA) on the fourth phase of the water, followed by the lecture of Prof. Stefano Fais (Italy), of Prof. Yasunobu Okada (Japan), and of Dr. Larry A. Nagahara. 

The two-day meeting was enriched by presenters from young PhD students and post/doctorants consisting of 32 poster presentations during the symposium breaks and lunches coupled with 21 oral communications.

Several young investigator awards were also assigned.
