7th ISCaM meeting

 

Dear past and present ISCaM members,

It is a great pleasure to announce our 7th Annual Meeting Webinar Series, which will focus on Systemic Metabolism and Cancer. With the generous help of the The Francis Crick Institute, we were able to host a fantastic line-up of speakers please see in the attached program. After much discussions, we set up the program in four sessions which would run weekly or fortnightly on Tuesdays from the 20th of October. We will try to keep the sessions no longer than two hours, but it also will depend on your participation in the discussions following the talks. To be able to cover at least the time zones in Europe and the US, starting at 4pm UK time seemed like a good compromise. The sessions will focus (loosely) on a specific topic, covering Cancer Therapy and Diet, The Tumour Microenvironment, Metabolic disease and cancer, Imaging metabolism in cancer. At each session we will have a moderator chair, who will introduce the speakers and lead the discussions. 

 

 

The events will be free to join. Please find here below the Zoom invitation for the first session. As you see, in order to make it easier to access the events, using these details anyone can participate without registration. However, we will generate a list of participants from your Zoom details. We will send detailed instructions closer to the event on how to participate in the discussion. Please feel free to circulate these details to your colleagues, everybody who is interested is invited!
